FYI about the photos in listing: I shot them with my iphone and tried to make them look as good as I could. The prints are nice- not as contrasty. I also made the images monochrome because the color shifts were so weird in the light of my patio. Prints look best in a well-lighted room, just not in direct sunlight. I tend to print a little dark, just a preference of mine!

NOTE: the first image in each listing is a scan of the negative - the prints are much richer.

Printed in my darkroom on Ilford Multi-grade Fiber, gloss I have two sizes available for this print. Both are matted full frame, titled and signed on mat and reverse, including print date and print number. Please see dimensions below.

The smaller print, on 11x14 and cut down for the panoramic dimension, is matted 11x17, which is a standard legal size that will hopefully help getting an affordable frame. Beware of cheap document frames sold online! If you can get to a frame shop or craft store to see them in person it’s a better option. Available: #1, 2, 3, 4 or 4 printed

The larger print, on 16x20 cut down for the panoramic dimension, is matted 14x24, which is not a standard size, but chosen to nicely fit the panoramic dimensions. A custom frame online is how I framed up all the work for a solo show and found it to be far more affordable than a professional framer if you want to go the more DIY route! Available: #2, 3 of 3 printed

This is available framed:

I have several large prints already in frames and ready to hang. While I love a low-profile frame, the dimensions of the prints meant I needed to have enough support to hang and have them not succumb to gravity with distorting over time! The frames are solid wood, plexiglass front, wired to hang, and backed with a dust cover. The frames are 14”x24”. Print #1 of 3

About the work:

In 2021 I began the series of self-portraits with my Noblex Pro 06/150, which is a medium format swing lens camera. It was not intended for using a timer release which sent me on a crazy goose chase and multiple failed tests to finally get it rigged up with a 100 year old Kodak self-timer. It is not exact, to say the least- I have many photos of me running away from the camera, or coming forward tired of waiting for it to go off.

In 2022 I had a solo show at what is now the MixHaus Gallery in Comfort, Texas. Since I print the work in my darkroom, and this format was difficult to print, if I got a successful exposure for one print, I’d try to duplicate it several times. Each print is not exactly the same, but the ones I pulled to number are all as close as I could make them.
